Content is where most writers and creatives are likely to land in the world of business, but content marketing isn’t really about creativity. Here’s how I see it:
- Content is Marketing.
- Marketing is Revenue.
- Revenue is Business.
In true Aristotelian logic, content is business.
When I got into copywriting and content marketing, I was drawn to the publishing aspect of content marketing. But I’ve grown a lot since then. Now, I’m fascinated by the similarities between the business of writing and writing for business.
It’s not that different, my friend!
Essentially, if you do content, you’re doing business growth. Get good at it, and no business can survive without you.
