SHOW NOTES:
Welcome to the Authority Journey Podcast!
Finding your genius is what the Authority Journey is all about. Step into what makes you unique rather than trying to force yourself into something that doesn’t come naturally.
In fact, we often take our genius for granted. Because our genius is what comes naturally to us, it may seem too easy. We fall into the trap of believing it must not be as valuable because we don’t have to work at it.
But your genius is what makes you unique. It’s the thing that sets you apart. The thing that no one else can do precisely because it comes so naturally to you.
Robin Williams wanted to be a dramatic actor. His genius was comedy.
Will Ferrell is a genius at comedy, but he doesn’t resist. He owns it.
I started my career wanting to write fiction.
3 things going on here…
- Judgment
- Commitment
- Consistency
You have permission to change your destination. But…
- Don’t judge – yourself or others.
- One path isn’t better or worse than any other.
- Know yourself.
- Be honest / objective
How do you find your genius? (This is what the Authority Journey is about.)
